nc_content; Yes Chef! is a connect-three game similar to Candy Crush Saga (and hundreds of other similar games) - except in this game, you'll be combining different ingredients like peppers, corn, and tomatoes. Gameplay in Yes Chef! is, as expected, practically identical to other games of this sort. Players have to advance level by level across a big linear map, trying to get three stars at every stop. To get all three stars in Yes Chef!, you'll need to get the required score for each level. And to do so, you must be smart about combining ingredients, trying to create combinations of more than three to unlock special ingredients. Yes Chef! incorporates a slight twist on other games in this genre, which is that you can improve your cooking skills with certain ingredients so you can get more points. Yes Chef! is a fun casual game that does little to innovate but still looks quite pretty. It won't go down in history as one of the best releases from Halfbrick, but it's good nonetheless.
