nc_content; Hot Wheels Showdown is a car racing game that’s based on the popular toy car brand in which you compete on many different circuits using dozens of different cars. One of the most interesting things about Hot Wheels Showdown is that it lets you scan your own Hot Wheels cars in order to compete with them in the game. Now, you don’t need to do this in order to play, as wide variety of different cars are available from the very beginning. On Hot Wheels Showdown you'll find over thirty different circuits divided into four different settings. You can race in urban circuits, beach circuits, etc. Plus, each vehicle comes better adapted for a different type of circuit, so you'll have to think about which car to use in each one. There are three different control modes: two of them use a virtual steering wheel (positioned on the left and right), and the other works by tapping both sides of the screen in order to make the car turn. Hot Wheels Showdown is a simple and fun car racing game that, even though it’s more fun to use your own Hot Wheels, still offers a very complete gaming experience on its own.
